Media & McCain/Palin
It seems that now, the media isn’t even bothering with sound bites from McCain and Palin and is only playing audience reactions and quotes from the exact same ones from their acceptance speeches.
The only “news” around the McCain / Palin campaign is the reporting on deceptive campaign ads and rumors they seem to keep producing.
Is it just me or has McCain “given in” to the Republican party’s power structure in order to win the election? I’m no longer hearing the straight talk the maverick was previously famous for.
It leaves me wondering if he was put in the box today, would he stick to his ideals the way he did 30 years ago with honor.
We’ll have to see if Sarah can whip him in to shape regarding drilling in ANWAR.
